Building daily habits
Building daily habits are building momentum for you before you see the result!
You’ve got an ice cube sitting in a 25 degree room. You go into this room and you’re warming it up one degree at a time. You’re putting all this work into warming up the room - 26 degrees, 27 degrees, 28 degrees - and so on, but you’re not actually seeing any progress.
But then you get to the 32 degree mark and you start seeing the breakthrough and the ice starts melting. You couldn’t see a measurable change until it starts melting, but it was definitely happening.
Building daily habits, even just starting with one at a time, are building momentum for you before you see the result. You have to stay committed if you really want what you want.
Positive change will never be lasting if you’re going to see it in the present - the work for real change is performed now and enjoyed in the future. This is what separates the wheat from the chaff - those that maintain hope and consistency, and those that don’t. You can sure bet that inaction will have an immediate effect, though.
