Learn To Sell Value, Not Time
One of the most destructive parts of society was teaching people to sell their time instead of their value.
The problem with this is that as you get better at serving, you actually penalize yourself financially. So as people figure this out, if they’re compensated based on time spent instead of performance, they have no incentive to become more effective and efficient.
Selling time for money is a long outdated model.
A helpful starting point - learn to quantify tasks, not time.
Have your team, and yourself, make a list of tasks they’re responsible for, and then place a realistic dollar value to these.
People are more invested, they’re more fulfilled, and this is a concept you can simply scale.
