Empower to Elevate

We all know that it’s important to delegate effectively in order to grow effectively, which means not compromising profits in the name of growth. But I hate how delegation is often talked about in entrepreneurship like employees are just little robots to do dirty work the CEO needs to get away from… (gag).

Delegation isn’t about getting more off you’re plate, it’s about empowering sub-leaders within your company to takeover the things you shouldn’t be doing because they want to elevate you as the CEO. It isn’t about giving them more, it’s about showing them their value in the responsibilities you give them to oversee.

There’s 2 major mindsets at play here that separate the good from the great:

  • Scarcity mindset: CEO’s that delegate tasks while they black-box the information that ultimately delivers results to clients is a sure way to not build a team, but instead resentful employees that are looking for jobs while their on their lunch break.

  • Growth mindset: Having a proven-process for the results you get your clients so it’s simple to see where your team can lead from within. They get excited with you about the journey your clients are taken through and want to jump in so you can lead the company to the next level.

Having a clear-cut recipe for results serves not only as the confidence boosting tool you need to nail more sales & propel profits, it’s also a leadership tool.

I mean, you can build your entire business from the clarity this framework provides. No joke.

Build the people & they’ll build your business.

Sounds great and all, but where do you begin? Well, businesses will rise on communication or die for a lack thereof. I don’t care what great service or product you have, if you suck at communicating with your team, shareholders, and clients, none of that matters.

  1. I would be sure my whole team understands our vision, mission and values. This is at the top of the meeting agenda notes for weekly meetings with my team. It’s always at the forefront of what we do and discuss.

  2. When in doubt, over-communicate.

  3. Ensure my team clearly understands the results we get our clients and how their roles fit into that results-driven ecosystem.

  4. Put each role in charge of documenting critical processes as part of their role because we operate under the assumption that as we grow, they will grow and evolve into new roles. Which means we will need to hire people to fill the gaps and I want to minimize team onboarding time because money loves speed. The faster (and better) we move, the faster we grow.

So change the conversation in your head from what can I tell my employees to do next > how can I better empower my team to lead in their seat so we can elevate to the next level?

The result from effectively being the leader you team needs is getting closer to your aligned work, faster grow, more profits, and refining the next level of clarity to cash flow for you.

If you’re committed to being the change you know you need, you need Recipe for Results. I’ve made this process ready to plug-and-play for your business.
