A terrific point that a lot of people glaze over…
1️⃣ Make a PROFIT goal, not just revenues. Revenues are great, and they have their place, but I see so little talking about net profit, which tells a lot about how well your business is run.
2️⃣ Knowing your numbers helps you FOCUS. Ryan Stewman talks a lot about how focus is a superpower. We use it as a common word but it's not a so common concept that people take advantage of.
Focus is incredibly powerful.
Have a goal, then assign a number to it. I might be a CPA by trade, but an entrepreneur at heart and I certainly don't encourage money to be the end goal... However, assign a # as the means to a goal to help you stay focused -that way, it's simple to know when you hit that goal.
